The Best Tres Leches Cake

1 c.  flour

1 ½ t. baking powder

¼ t. Casa Bella Vida Sea Salt

5 eggs

1 c. sugar, divided

2-3 t. Casa Bella Vida Vanilla

1/3 c. whole milk

1 can evaporated milk

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 ½ c. whole milk

½ c. heavy cream

Frosting

2 c. heavy whipping cream

2 T. sugar

2-3 t. Casa Bella Vida Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 pan.  In a large mixing bowl mix together flour, baking powder and salt.  Separate egg whites and yolks.  Beat egg yoks with ¾ c. sugar with an electric mixer on high, until yolks are pale yellow.  Stir in 1/3 c. milk and Casa Bella Vida Vanilla.  Beat egg whites on high until soft peaks form.  With mixer on add remaining ¼ c. sugar and beat on high speed until egg whites are stiff.  Pour egg yolk mixture over the flour mixture and combine gently with a spatula.  Gently fold in egg white mixture until combined and pour batter into a prepared pan, spreading to even out the surface.  Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Combine evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, milk and cream.  Mix well.  When cake is warm, poke holes through out the cake with a fork.  Carefully pour the milk mixture over the cake.  Let cool.

Beat whipping cream, sugar and vanilla together to form and stiff whipped cream.  Spread on the top of a cool cake.  Refrigerate until serving.
