Pan Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease a large cookie sheet/jelly roll pan. Cream butter and cream cheese for 1 minute in a stand mixer. Add sugar. Mix for another minute of medium speed. Add egg and vanilla and blend until smooth. Mix in all dry ingredients, be sure not to overmix. Mix until incorporated on low. Spread the dough into the pan with a spatula. Try not to press into the pan too much. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cook until the top is lightly golden brown. Cool completely.
For frosting, cream butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add vanilla and salt, blend until smooth. Add cream a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
