Lime Slushy
Mexico loves limes. If you ask for a “limon” in Spanish you will be given a lime. We love limes on just about everything! We squeeze them on fruit, on tacos, and in all of our drinks. A couple of years ago The Farmer planted himself a lime tree in our yard. He’s praying that tree will be loaded soon!
This Lime Slushy is a big favorite of The Farmer!
6-8 large limes, juiced
2 c. ice cubes
1 c. sugar
3 c. cold water
1 t. Casa Bella Vida Vanilla
Mint for garnish
Squeeze limes and strain any seeds out. Pour all ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve in chilled glasses with a sprig of mint for garnish.
