This will be the most decadent hot chocolate you will ever try, It is rich, creamy and full of chocolate. I think the secret ingredient in this recipe is the evaporated milk. This is also part of our Dia De Los Muertos celebration. We love to dip the traditional Pan de Muerto, a soft and sweet bread, in this amazing warm chocolate. Give it a try! It may become your new favorite tradation!
1 1/2 c. Chocolate Chips (good ones)
1/4 c. Cocoa powder
1/4 c. Powdered sugar
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 c. Heavy cream
6 c. Whole milk
1 Tbsp. Casa Bella Vida Vanilla
Pinch of salt
2 c. Mini marshmallows
Mix all ingredients, except marshmallows, together in a large slow cooker. Stir well. Set on low for 2 hours. After two hours stir in marshmallows. They will dissolve. Serve topped with Casa Bella Vida whipped cream. Very delicious and very rich!
