Brown Sugar Peach Ice Cream - No Churn
Brown Sugar Peach Ice Cream - No Churn
Our favorite time of year is the peach harvest. There is nothing like walking through the orchards, eating perfectly ripened peaches right from the tree. We usually end up pretty sticky with the drips of peach juice running down our hands and chin! It never gets old! We have been growing peaches for nearly 30 years and every year we are amazed with the delicious bounty. This ice cream is extra special. I think it’s the brown sugar. Wow!! Just WOW!
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
½ c. brown sugar
2 t. Casa Bella Vida Vanilla
¼ t. salt
2 c. heavy whipping cream
1 c. fresh peaches finely chopped
Whisk together condensed milk, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt in a large bowl.
Set aside.
Whip the cream with a mixer on medium high speed until firm peaks form, about 2 minutes. Fold about 1 cup of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture with a rubber spatula until combined. Then once the mixture is lightened add the rest of the whipped cream mixture. Fold until combined.
Pour into a chilled 9 x 5 x 3 load pan and freeze, covered. After a couple of hours stir in the diced peaches and continue to freeze for another few hours.
*This ice cream is amazing! Other kinds of fruit would be delicious!
